Compress photos online without losing quality

Shrink photo file sizes several-fold right in your browser — in batches, with a quality slider. Files never leave your device.

How to compress a photo

  1. Drag your photos into the box — as many as you like.
  2. Keep quality at 75% (the sweet spot) or move the slider; for websites and messengers you can also cap the long side at 1600–2048 px.
  3. Press Compress — each file shows how much it shrank, with a Download button.

Limitations

Photos shrink the most — a phone JPG usually drops 3–10x with no visible difference. PNG screenshots and graphics do not compress that way: the format is lossless; pick WebP or JPG as the output for them. Below 50–60% quality artifacts become visible — the slider shows the percentage, you decide. iPhone HEIC is accepted via a dedicated decoder (loaded once).
