Limitations

Will the aspect ratio get distorted?
No. You set only the frame height; width is calculated from the original proportions automatically — the picture will not stretch or squash.
Can I upscale, for example to 1080p?
Yes, upscaling works: platforms sometimes require a minimum resolution. Fair warning: detail that is not in the source will not appear — the video gets bigger, not sharper.
Will the file get smaller?
When downscaling — usually yes, noticeably: fewer pixels, less data. If file size is your actual goal, try the Compress tool — that is what it is for.
