PNG to JPG converter — free online

Convert PNG to JPG, JPG to PNG or WebP right in your browser — in batches, no sign-up. Files never leave your device.

How to convert PNG to JPG

  1. Drag one or more images into the box — PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or BMP.
  2. Pick the output format (JPG by default) and, if needed, the quality and the background color under transparency.
  3. Press Convert and download each file — they never left your device.

Limitations

JPG has no transparency: transparent PNG areas are filled with white or black — your choice. Animated GIF contributes its first frame. iPhone HEIC is accepted too: a dedicated decoder (~3 MB) loads once for it. Image size is limited only by your device's memory.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the JPG so much smaller than the PNG?

PNG stores every pixel losslessly; JPG drops detail the eye barely notices. For photos and smooth gradients the size difference is several-fold; for text and sharp lines JPG may show artifacts — keep PNG there.

What happens to the transparent background?

JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the chosen color (white by default). If you need transparency, pick WebP or PNG.

Can I convert many files at once?

Yes — drop the whole folder. Each file is processed separately and downloaded with its own button.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is sent out — hence no limits, no queues and no risk for personal photos.

What about iPhone HEIC photos?

Accepted directly: on the first HEIC file the browser loads a decoder (about 3 MB, once), after that it works like any other image. There is also a dedicated HEIC to JPG page.
