Extract audio from video

Save the soundtrack as a separate file. The video is never uploaded to a server.

How it works

  1. Pick a video file — it stays on your device.
  2. Choose a format. Auto keeps the audio as it is, with no quality loss.
  3. Press Extract audio and download the file.

Limitations

In Auto mode the audio is copied out of the video without re-encoding, so quality is unchanged and the format follows the source. MP3 and M4A compress the audio again, while WAV stores it uncompressed and produces a noticeably larger file. If the video has no audio track there is nothing to extract, and the tool will say so.
